In 2012 Glen Carlou celebrated its 25th vintage – a comparatively young Estate in the South African wine industry – yet we are proud to say, we have built a reputation as one of South Africa’s leading producers. Under the ownership and management of the world-renowned Hess Family, we continue to produce wines of exceptional quality and consistency, growing from strength to strength.Since 1985, we have only had three winemakers – whose collective passion has ensured that Glen Carlou has produced consistently exceptional wines for almost three decades. For us, creating classic, award-winning wines is a wonderful and gratifying journey, but it is not the destination.Consistency, expertise and a commitment to always deliver beyond expectation is what we strive for with every bottle of Glen Carlou wine. Tasting Notes

This chardonnay is from our oldest vineyard – planted in 1989 – and continuously produces an exceptional wine. On the nose the wine is bursting with aromas of orange marmalade, lemon custard and ripe stone fruits. The lively aromas are followed by layer after layer of poached pear and candied pineapple on the palate. The finish.

E. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Globuzz does not take responsibility for minor damage. 

F. Globuzz is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling. 

G. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded. 

H. If the package is returned to Globuzz damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order. 

I. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws. 

J. Globuzz does not ship to P.O. boxes under any circumstances.
