Gundlach Bundschu Sonoma Cabernet from our Rhinefarm is shy – it doesn’t reveal itself quickly. Napa Cabernets often announce themselves as the life of the party but Rhinefarm Cabs are serious, dark and deep with lots of food-friendly tannin. They’re designed to age, Bordeaux-style. Cooler nights and cooler mornings help shape our style of Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as our meticulous handwork in the vineyards. The grapes need a long time to ripen to perfection and thus, are the first vines we prune since they need that extra time to develop. With this grape, patience is key to creating beautiful, vineyard-driven wine. In general, we pick Cabernet Sauvignon around Halloween before the rain arrives for the winter, then optically sort them with as much gentle handing as possible.

Consistently nabbing high praises from critics, this old world classic Cabernet Sauvignon is our perennial “Trophy Wine.” Vinified from grapes predominately grown on Rhinefarm’s “Cool Climate” Arrowhead Mountain, this savory Cabernet is balanced, nuanced and bursting with layers of dark fruits, oak, cigar and chocolate. With its well-behaved tannins, freshness, aromas of dark spices and coffee, and silky texture, it’s ready to drink now, but will beautifully evolve for another 10 years.

E. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Globuzz does not take responsibility for minor damage. 

F. Globuzz is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling. 

G. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded. 

H. If the package is returned to Globuzz damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order. 

I. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
