The Monte Rossa is an historical wine producing company in which the country tradition blended harmoniously with technology and in which the artisan care and the very passionate research for excellence have been managed with great diligence and entrepreneurial behaviour , without compromises. In 1972, the entrepreneur Paolo Rabotti with the precious help of his wife Paola, took up the way of vine growing. This has been a very positive and forward-looking choice that still today is carried on with great enthusiasm and innovative attitude by their son Emanuele. The Monte Rossa story is filled with strategically winning decisions, for example the decision of leaving as first Company the production of no-sparkling wines in favour of the research of the Franciacorta excellence or the decision to invest in technology with great determination, and furtherly the continuous research, tests and trials for which our Company is distinguished among the others.Today the Monte Rossa Company manages 70 hectars of vineyards. The different locations of cru on plots with different exposition contribute to increase the aromatic richness of grapes in such a way to make up very rich cuvée under the frame and complexity aspect. The Company production is 500.000 bottles approx. per year.
This wine has an evocative name reminding you an immaginary world made up of passion, style, and thoughtlessness, these are feelings that the new pas dosé wine from Monte Rossa promises to give to the one who chooses it without neglecting its origins ; in fact the word COUPE comes from the French verb «Couper» meaning «To cut» a concept that in the enological world is summarized in the term Cuvée.
