Sterling Vineyards Vintner's Collection California Meritage Red Wine Blend is a well-balanced red blend crafted by our winemaking team with fruit from select California vineyards. A dry red wine that's smooth and fruit-forward, it offers inviting notes of raspberry, cranberry, cherry, and melted milk chocolate with flavors of mixed berry fruit, mocha, and subtle toasted spice. An excellent wine to share over dinner, pair this Meritage wine with grilled steak or roasted chicken. Sterling Vineyards was founded in 1964 by Oxford graduate and successful businessman Peter Newton. Newton was an early pioneer of crafting Bordeaux-inspired red wines in California and helped transform the Napa Valley region into the premier winemaking appellation we know today.

The Sterling Vintner’s Collection Meritage is a fine blend of some of California’s most intriguing red varietals including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. The wine opens with an inviting and vivid nose of freshly picked raspberries, boysenberry, black cherry and vanilla mocha. The wine is juicy on the palate where the nose rings true with flavors of mixed berryfruit, clove and toasted vanilla bean. The well-integrated oak influence offers a pleasing warm vanilla note and leads to a long-lasting, seamless finish with balanced acidity.

E. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Globuzz does not take responsibility for minor damage. 

F. Globuzz is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling. 

G. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded. 

H. If the package is returned to Globuzz damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order. 

I. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
